A Michigan manufacturer was awarded a large federal government contract involving connectivity with a government information network. This required the Michigan company to be fully compliant with NIST 800-53 security controls. ADVANCE brought together information security, physical security and contracting specialists to achieve NIST 800-53 compliance and position themselves for future contract awards.
CASE STUDY 2 - IP PROTECTION
A Michigan company conducting joint venture negotiations in a foreign market known for IP infringement asked ADVANCE for assistance. ADVANCE identified numerous risks to the company’s technology and information network in the foreign country. We provided a strategy to protect key technologies and network security while enabling successful implementation of expansion plans in that market.
CASE STUDY 3 - PHYSICAL SECURITY
A mid-sized insurance company became concerned for the physical safety of executives, board members and insurance agents traveling to Europe on incentive trips. ADVANCE provided a detailed risk assessment of the locations and an on-the-ground review of the group’s itinerary and service providers. During the trip, we managed local security resources to support a safe, successful visit. ADVANCE now provides this service for all of their overseas travels.
